Dashboard, templates and trash

Find, star, duplicate and delete forms, start from one of the built-in templates, and recover a form from the trash within 30 days.

The Forms page

Forms lists every form in the current workspace, with a status badge (Draft, Live, Unpublished changes, Closed or Archived), the response count and when it was last edited.

  • Search by title with the Search forms box.
  • Filter with the status menu: All statuses, Drafts, Live, Closed, Archived.
  • Switch between the grid and list views with the two buttons on the right.
  • Star a form to keep it at the top of the list.

The menu on each card offers Edit, Responses, Open live form (only when it is live), Duplicate and Move to trash.

Which workspace you are looking at is shown at the top of the sidebar. Click it to switch, create a new workspace or open the member list.

Templates

Templates offers starter forms grouped by category. Choosing one creates a new draft in your workspace and opens it in the builder, where everything can be changed.

A template is only a starting point. It is copied into your draft with new ids, so changing your copy never affects anyone else's. Viewers cannot create forms: the New form button is hidden for them and the template buttons are disabled.

Duplicate

Duplicate creates "Copy of ..." with the same questions, logic and design, as a new draft. Responses are not copied, and the copy gets its own public link. That makes it the quickest way to run the same survey for a second event.

Trash

Move to trash takes the form's public link offline immediately. The Trash page in the sidebar is headed "Kept for 30 days": within that window you can choose Restore, and the form returns to the builder. After 30 days a scheduled cleanup deletes it, with all of its responses and uploaded files.

Delete forever in the trash does the same thing right away and cannot be undone.

Moving a form to the trash, restoring it and deleting it forever are limited to workspace owners. Editors can build and duplicate but not delete. See Roles and permissions.

Archive is different

Archiving is a gentler option, found on the form's Settings tab under Danger zone. An archived form stops accepting responses and moves out of the way, but keeps its responses and stays in the list under the Archived filter. Restore returns it to Live if it has a published version, or to Draft if it never had one.
