Save and resume, so nobody starts over
Long forms get abandoned on a bad connection or a phone call. Formwork stores progress as people answer and lets them pick up where they left off.
What respondents see
With Save progress switched on, a form stores answers while people fill it in. If they close the tab and come back on the same browser, they land on their draft. They can also ask for a resume link by email and continue on another device.
What you see
An unfinished response is a separate status from a submitted one. The results page counts partials next to the completion rate, so you can see how many people started and never finished, and the insights tab shows where.
Housekeeping
A draft response that nobody resumes for 30 days is deleted together with any files attached to it. Submitted responses are never touched by that rule.
On a phone
Respondent pages are built for touch: one column, large options, the right keyboard for email, phone and number fields. The design tab shows a phone preview before you publish.
